Structural integration:

An eclectic work (Myofascial release, Trigger Point Therapy, Breathing, PNFs among other techniques) based on the approach and philosophy of Usha Heller Cunningham.

The ultimate goal of this work is to realign muscle groups, disengage postural patterns that cause pain-discomfort, and  to increase optimum performance of the soft tissues as a whole, and  help the receiver to achieve  mind-body harmonious connection. No a typical soothing relaxing session, client would have to participate in active release by means of body movement, walking, turning and rolling etc.. Client may have to wear lose/minimum clothing to hers/his own comfort ,  like sport bra (ladies)  sport shorts

Prenatal/Postnatal Massage

An important part of the pregnancy is to be as comfortable and pain/aches free during the three trimesters, custom and tailored for each trimester this work focuses on the postural musculature, can be as shooting as Swedish massage in combination with deep tissue and some gentle stretching to her own comfort level.

Postnatal work focused in helping the new mom to reconnect mind body  and helps her to have awareness of her new physical changes. Myofascial release for the Thoracic and Breast Tissues:

This type of work is affected by some myths. First myth is the legal part of it, most people think it is against the law. The truth is, it is accepted by the New York office a professions as long as there is consent by the receiver. Another myth is that it has to be some sort of trauma on the tissues  to work on it. They are just like any other body tissue that need maintenance and manipulation to increase, circulation (vascular, Lymph, and lactation during breast feeding etc). Some other benefits of this work are; congestion and swelling, discomforts of pregnancy, breastfeeding, weaning, premenstrual and menopausal tenderness, breast pain, breast injuries, post-surgical symptoms, discomfort of cancer treatments, a holistic way to treat breast tissues, assistance with breast monitoring. Advanced sport massage:

Scientific based type of work, can include some techniques like proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation  ( PNFs techniques) passive and active myofascial release and stretches among other techniques that may be needed at the time of treatment.

 

Athletes of all levels can achieve their goals while doing a periodization program and the best athletes include sport massage into it.

 

Massage helps to recover faster between workouts/competitions by means of increasing circulation, removing adhesions, keeping muscles and other tissues pliable and aligned, increase and maintain range of motion.

Eastern Bodywork:

Shiatsu (Japanese bodywork), Tui Na (Chinese bodywork), southern Thai massage (Thai bodywork) even though each may be different philosophy depending  on the country and region of it, they all over lap and connect  with the influence of traditional Chinese medicine and or Anma. The focused of this work is to encourage the proper flow of Chi (body energy), by using stroking techniques like brushing, kneading, rolling, acupressure, drumming, stretches and manipulations of the entire body with focused work on the gates (joints) and energy meridians. Traditionally this work is giving on the floor using a comfortably cushioned mat, but can be offered on a massage table as well. Loose clothing  can be worn, always is up the comfort level of the receiver sport leggings and sport bra, yoga and martial arts garments. May add some oil or lotion to increase more circulation and add some soothing feeling to the experience.
